In cooperation with the Multimedia Technology course, we were able to present our latest project on the subject of digitalisation in teaching on Teaching Day: DIGIBAU
It is about the digitalisation of a course held in the construction laboratory using VR and the possible advantages this brings in terms of the learning effect.

From 12 to 16 June 2022, the biennial international scientific conference of the fib(Fédération internationale du béton), the fib Congress, took place in Oslo. At the fib Congress 2022, the latest scientific results from almost 1000 authors from 41 countries were presented in the form of 432 conference papers, 5 keynote speeches, 300 presentations and 6 poster presentations. The construction laboratory of the Carinthia University of Applied Sciences presented the latest results of the CON_FIT project (performance-oriented use of fibre- and textile-reinforced high-strength concretes for structural strengthening) in 2 lectures.
SITAR_ Supporting the construction Industry in the Transition towards climate-friendly practices in the Alpine Region
On 12 February 2024, the kick-off meeting of the Interreg project SITAR took place at the Science & Energy Labs of the Carinthia University of Applied Sciences (lead partner). At this event, the partners got to know each other again personally and a general overview of the project, including information on reporting and eligibility rules, was provided.
We are looking forward to the joint development of the project content / objectives and are highly motivated to develop solutions for the transformation of the construction industry towards climate friendliness.
